FP Walker
(foam pneumatic)
The FP Walker provides full-shell protection with pneumatic support. Each FP Walker has a low rocker sole for added comfort and ease of ambulation, and a wider foot base with plenty of room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. With the patient in mind, the valve placement has been relocated to improve compliance and ease of inflation. As with all Aircast Walking Braces, the FP Walker has a lightweight, durable, semi-rigid shell that supports the limb while providing protection. Housed within the shell are two adjustable aircells that provide compression and support the malleoli. These aircells can be individually inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a customized fit and optimal comfort and support. Changes in limb dimension can easily be accommodated throughout the healing process by adjusting aircell inflation to ensure stability and immobilization.
Walking Brace Extension Staps are available to increase the strap length by 4 (10 cm).
Socks are available and may be ordered separately.
Product Features and Benefits
- Low rocker sole offers enhanced comfort and promotes natural ambulation
- Wide foot base provides ample room for dressings
- Improved ergonomic design for ease-of-use and increased compliance
- Semi-rigid shell and adjustable aircells provide secure support and protection
Indication
- Stable fracture of foot and/or ankle
- Severe ankle sprain
- Post-operative use

SP Walker
(short pneumatic)
The Aircast SP Walker, a short pneumatic walking brace, is ideal for patients whose limb length or calf circumference prohibits them from using a standard height walker or for injuries that are best treated with a short walker. Each SP Walker is engineered for patient comfort while providing superior injury protection and support. The Walker's low rocker sole promotes more natural ambulation for improved mobility while the generous foot base has ample room for dressings without sacrificing comfort. The lightweight semi-rigid shell has a pre-inflated anterior aircell and two adjustable aircells located at the malleoli that can be individually inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a total contact fit and secure support. Because of the SP Walker's adjustability, changes in limb dimension can be accommodated throughout the healing process while still maintaining stability and immobilization.
Product Features and Benefits
- Low rocker sole offers enhanced comfort and promotes natural ambulation
- Wide foot base provides ample room for dressings
- Improved ergonomic design for ease-of-use and increased compliance
- Semi-rigid shell and adjustable aircells provide secure support and protection
Indication
- Forefoot, midfoot, or hindfoot injury
- Foot fracture
- Soft tissue, tendon or ligamentous injury or procedure
- Acute or postoperative care (i.e. bunionectomy, osteotomy, etc.)

XP Diabetic Walker System
Specifically designed to meet the needs of the higher risk diabetic patient, the XP Diabetic Walker System features the XP Diabetic Walker. Similar to the XP Walker, the XP Diabetic Walker incorporates a high rocker sole for maximum off-loading of the diabetic foot and two insoles (one Impax Grid and one Plastizote) to help eliminate pressure points. These insoles, when combined with the semi-rigid shell and full aircell coverage, also helps regulate shear stress. The Walker's shell/aircell/rocker design maximizes plantar unloading and provides protection and immobilization. A specialized Hand Bulb with Pressure Gauge is included with each System to measure individual aircell compression. This precise measuring ensures regulated aircell inflation for neuropathic patients. The XP Diabetic Walker System is an ideal alternative to total contact casting. Unlike casting which requires costly and time consuming removal and application during skin and wound examinations, the XP Diabetic Walker can be easily removed and reapplied time after time. The XP Diabetic Walker can be secured closed with the Aircast Brace-Lok to help monitor patient progress. Walking Brace Extension Straps are available to increase the strap length by 4 (10 cm).
PneumaticWalker Diabetic System includes:
- XP Diabetic Walker
- Insoles (one Impax Grid and one Plastizote)
- Stockings
-Hand Bulb with Pressure Gauge
Additional insoles and stockings are available in the XP Diabetic Walker Impax Replacement Kit or the XP Diabetic Walker Replacement Kit.
The Hand Bulb with Pressure Gauge may be ordered separately

XP Walker
(extra pneumatic)
® The XP Walker has features to increase comfort, simplify use, and promote compliance while still retaining the clinically effective elements found in the original prefabricated walking brace by Aircast.
Each XP Walker features a low rocker sole for added comfort and ease of ambulation, a wider foot base ensuring plenty of room for dressings without sacrificing comfort, and relocated valves to improve ease of use and patient compliance. As with its predecessor, the XP Walker has a lightweight, durable semi-rigid shell that helps support the limb while providing full-shell protection. Lining the shell are overlapping aircells similar to those used in the Aircast patented Duplex Ankle Brace aircell system. These aircells provide intermittent pneumatic compression for efficient edema reduction and callus formation, and can be custom-inflated using the hand bulb (included) for a total contact fit. This adjustability allows the XP Walker to accommodate changes in limb dimension throughout the healing process while maintaining stability and immobilization.
The XP Walker includes two socks and a hand bulb to inflate and adjust aircells.
Walking Brace Extension Straps are available to increase the strap length by 4 (10 cm).
Product Features and Benefits
- A low rocker sole for enhanced comfort and natural ambulation
- A wide foot base offers ample room for dressings
- Ergonomic design to promote greater compliance
- Exclusive overlapping aircells offer superior edema reduction
- Semi-rigid shells and adjustable aircells for secure support and protection
Indication
- Stable fracture of foot and/or ankle
- Severe ankle sprain
- Post-operative use

Mayo Clinic Elbow Brace
An innovative control knob and adjustable hinge, provides exceptional stability and comfort while allowing for immobilization, static stretch or free motion option of the elbow. The sturdy metal uprights provide stability, while the straps with aircells securely hold the brace in position, ensure patient comfort and avoid pressure points.
The brace is used immediately after surgery to protect and immobilize the elbow joint. In the immediate post injury or post surgical period, the brace may be used to comfortably immobilize the elbow due to the effectiveness of the aircell strapping systems.
For static stretch, the control knob is set to the desired degree of flexion/extension. Once the arm muscles have stretched to the designated degree, the muscles can relax minimizing the inflammatory response that can occur in dynamic stretching.
In addition, the control knob can be unlocked allowing for free range-of-motion (ROM). This unique feature enables the patient to have the benefits of stability and protection while promoting elbow movement to prevent or treat contractures.
The Mayo Clinic Elbow Brace also controls ROM through the use of metal stops located in the adjustable hinge. These stops, inserted into the hinge by the medical professional, ensure that the patient does not exceed predetermined safe limits of ROM.
Accessories include an Arm Sling (included with each Elbow Brace) to enhance patient comfort and the ARC
